‘I will not have a fatwa on my head because of a movie.’ This was the reply of Harald Kloser ,Co-writer of Hollywood Disaster movie “2012” ,when asked about why he dropped the idea of destroying Muslim Holy Place “Kaaba” in his above mentioned movie.

The Movie 2012 is about Global Doomsday event based on Mayan calendar; according to interpreters of Mayan calendar, Mayan calendar predicts that world is going to end on December 21, 2012; movie 2012 is set to release on 13 November, 2009 Worldwide.

Many Researchers and authors are of the view that this movie is creating unnecessary fear in the minds of people, who are already terrified by the existing situation of the world; director, producer Roland Emmerich who has already produced many disaster movies such as ‘Independence Day’ and ‘Godzilla’ said he likes to produce these type of movies because they make for a good story.
