asteroid-hits-earth“We will soon hold a closed meeting of our collegium, the science-technical council to look at what can be done, to prevent the asteroid Apophis from slamming into the planet in 2036″ said Russian scientist named Anatoly Perminov, who is a rocket scientist and also a mechanical engineer,he told this to  reporters when they were asking him about asteroid aphophis and Russia’s plans to prevent it from colliding with planet earth.

According to latest news,Russian scientists are working on numerous options to implement their above mentioned plan like building a space apparatus to divert apophis from colliding with earth and this type of plan will be of international level involving countries like China,USA and some European countries; latest NASA findings have revealed that Probability of Apophis has dropped from one-in-45,000 to about four-in-a-million

SL-IndBreaking News: Fifth and last ODI Match  between Srilanka and India suspended due to bad bounce in New Delhi Kotla pitch; It was 23rd over when umpires decided that they cant  continue the match  due to dangerous pitch.

Veteran cricketer Sunil Gawaskar described the uneven sprinkling of grass on the pitch as a “hair transplant” with bald patches ; India already won the series by the margin of 3-1.

According to historians, Boxing day celebrations began during middle ages  in England, no one knows the exact history of  Boxing day but some people say that it was started to help poor by placing a box outside churches, where worshipers used to deposit coins for the poor.

Some christian people also believe that boxing day is celebrated on the eve of feast of St Stephen, who had ordered his followers to help poor and widows.

Gautam-Gambhir_0Fantastic performance by Indian batting line up:  Indian team easily chased the target of 315 with 11 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand; Gambhir played an amazing innings he scored innings of 150 not out and was supported by young Virat Kohli who scored 107 runs with 11 fours and an six.

In Sri Lankan innings impressive batting display by skipper Sangakarra and Upal Tharanga helped Sri Lanka to post challenging total of  315 against the home team India, Upal Tharanga scored smashing 118 and Sanga karra scored a well calculated 60 runs; Before Indian innings started everybody was thinking that this total cant be chased easily but Kohli and Gambhir proved everybody wrong with their impressive batting display.

Google.com is topping the list of  “Top 5 search engines  “ ; according to an estimate its monthly traffic is 400 million and now it has 65.60 % share of the internet search market.

Yahoo.com is number 2 on the list of “Top 5 search engines”; according to a monthly comScore report, Yahoo.com has lost 0.5 % share of internet search market in November; it is getting approximately 394 million visitors monthly and has 17 % share of internet search market.

Ajmal Kasab retracts from his statement

m_id_77391_ajmal_kasabHere is a very interesting news for all of  you: Mohammad ajmal Kasab who was accused by Indian Government of carrying out terrorist attacks in Mumbai last year has retracted from his earlier confession about  involvement  in last year’s 26/11 terrorist attacks.

In  latest statement Ajmal Kasab is saying that he came india for a visit with valid documents but Indian Police caught him when he was roaming on the beach; after all these statements by kasab,Indian authorities are still  confident that they have enough evidences to punish him; in july 2009 this year he had confessed about his involvement in Mumbai 26/11 terrorist attacks.

ISLAMABAD: Dec 18, Nine clerics were hospitalised on Thursday after they ate ‘poisoned’ halwa.

According to details, some clerics decided to boycott the Ulema and Mashaikh Conference, saying they did not endorse the government’s stance on terrorism, jihad, drone attacks and the Taliban.
They had gathered at Abdul Ghafoor Haideri’s residence to discuss the conference. The guests were served the halwa when Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur

Rehman reached Haideri’s residence to take the “dissidents” into confidence over the draft declaration.
All of them immediately fell sick, however, Mufti Muneeb left the premises and fell unconscious when he reached the conference.
