069125-sheep-gives-birth-to-human-faced-lambBreaking News: A SHEEP gave birth to a dead lamb with a human-like face. The lamb was born in a village not far from the city of Izmir, Turkey.

Erhan Elibol, a vet, performed  a caesarean on the animal to take the lamb out, but was horrified to see that the features of the lamb’s snout bore a striking resemblance to a human face.

“I’ve seen mutations with cows and sheep before. I’ve seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal,” the 29-year-old veterinary said.

A goat from Zimbabwe gave birth to a similar youngster in September 2009; The mutant baby born with a human-like head stayed alive for several hours until the frightened village residents killed him.

The governor of the province where the ugly goat was born said that the little goat was the fruit of unnatural relationship between the female goat and a man.

s players celebrate with the trophy after defeating Sri Lanka during their Twenty20 World Cup Final cricket match at Lord cricket ground in London.-712774Aman ki Asha : 11 Pakistani Cricket players were totally ignored by bidders and organizers of 3rd edition of IPL Twenty 20 Tournament.

“Aman ki Asha” is a so-called joint peace campaign launched by Jang group and Times of India; its prime objective is to create peace and harmony among both nations, but it suffered a major setback after recent “IPL 2010” bidding episode, in which IPL bidders completely ignored Pakistani star cricketers who are currently Twenty-20 World champions, it is  beyond one’s understanding that how can anyone overlook players like Shahid afridi, umer gull, who are one of the most successful T-20 players in recent times, success of Shahid Afridi can be gauged from his performance in Twenty 20 World cup and recently concluded Big Bash T-20 Tournament and everyone knows that  how quickly he can turn the tables for his team with his deadly batting and good bowling.

After “IPL 2010” bidding episode, organizers of IPL are giving lame excuses of ignoring Pakistani Players, like there were security reasons bla bla, but everyone knows what were real reasons behind their actions; now analysts are saying that if anyone wants to turn “Aman ki Asha” like campaigns into a success, then before any such peace movement permanent solution of core issues involving Pakistan and India is must, because without solving core issues, these types of campaigns are nothing more than a fruitless exercise.

PM hindering gas extraction from a discovered field

Islamabad – At a time when country is facing severe energy crisis, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has unnecessarily delayed gas extraction from a discovered gas field Kunar Pesakhi, located some 25 kilometres east of Hyderabad, according to an English daily.

Arshad Nasr, former MD of OGDCL, was not in favour of delaying the installation of gas extraction equipment at the gas field and wanted to start work in July 2008 but he was forced to delay the project. On his resentment, the project was postponed after a letter from PM Secretariat was received and he was replaced.

Kunar Pesakhi is a gas field that can feed the major part of entire private industry and may also be helpful in overcoming power crisis in the country. The said plant is able to produce 280 million cubic feet of gas daily.

This field also can produce 1000 MW of electricity or feed almost the entire industrial sector that currently is at the mercy of gas loadshedding causing loss of exports and unemployment. Commencement of gas production from KPD field will also reduce oil imports.

According to reliable sources, tenders were invited in 2008 for the installation of equipment on the gas field to extract gas and LPG, and two days earlier to the date of tender opening or presentation, the authorities of OGDCL postponed the tenders and till now the situation is same.

The tenders were allegedly stopped due to vested interests of some strong lobby in LPG business because the authorities wanted to give the contract to their blue-eyed or to a party that could make them happy.

Preparation of installing facilities for commencing production from this field was stopped after an anonymous letter was received in 2008 from one Muhammad Ramzan at the behest of a powerful LPG lobby. This lobby is so strong that no further work has been done to produce any gas from this major gas field.

Pakistan Lost the second test against Australia

Second+Test+Australia+v+West+Indies+Day+1+yEUVlIRInjXlIt is truly unbelievable! Pakistan lost the second test from Australia by 37 runs;Pakistan team has made fool of themselves by losing the match from such a comfortable position; It was a really a terrible performance by Pakistan cricket team.

When Pakistan team started the fourth day of the match, all things were under control but without any reason Pakistan team as a whole and especially skipper Mohammad Yousuf looked very defensive, field settings of Mohammad Yousuf were not according to the situation, he gave away easy runs to Australian team which helped them posting a fighting 176 runs.

When Australia posted the total of 176 runs, everyone expecting a easy win for Pakistan because of docile SCG batting track but their batting line up made a mess of it; Pakistan started off well with opening stand of 34 runs but after that their wickets started tumbling one by one, umer akmal with score of 49 was the only batsmen who showed some resistance but he also got out by playing very irresponsible shot.

If we take a look at the dismissals of the Pakistani batsmen they all got out because of their own mistakes, there was nothing special about the pitch, Imran Farhat, Salman Butt,Misbah,Mohammad Yousaf ,Umer akmal and Faisal Iqbal all played horrible shots; in the end we must say that  by losing from Australia from such a good position, Pakistan have missed a golden chance to square the series and they must be kicking themselves on such a miserable performance.
