It is truly unbelievable! Pakistan lost the second test from Australia by 37 runs;Pakistan team has made fool of themselves by losing the match from such a comfortable position; It was a really a terrible performance by Pakistan cricket team.

When Pakistan team started the fourth day of the match, all things were under control but without any reason Pakistan team as a whole and especially skipper Mohammad Yousuf looked very defensive, field settings of Mohammad Yousuf were not according to the situation, he gave away easy runs to Australian team which helped them posting a fighting 176 runs.

When Australia posted the total of 176 runs, everyone expecting a easy win for Pakistan because of docile SCG batting track but their batting line up made a mess of it; Pakistan started off well with opening stand of 34 runs but after that their wickets started tumbling one by one,umer akmal with score of 49 was the only batsmen who showed some resistance but he also got out by playing very irresponsible shot.

If we take a look at the dismissals of the Pakistani batsmen they all got out because of their own mistakes, there was nothing special about the pitch, Imran Farhat, Salman Butt,Misbah,Mohammad Yousaf ,Umer akmal and Faisal Iqbal all played horrible shots; in the end we must say that  by losing from Australia from such a good position, Pakistan have missed a golden chance to square the series and they must be kicking themselves on such a miserable performance.

Breaking News: Fifth and last ODI Match  between Srilanka and India suspended due to bad bounce in New Delhi Kotla pitch; It was 23rd over when umpires decided that they cant  continue the match  due to dangerous pitch.

Veteran cricketer Sunil Gawaskar described the uneven sprinkling of grass on the pitch as a “hair transplant” with bald patches ; India already won the series by the margin of 3-1.

This is really a shocking news : A German football player named Robert Enke 32 dies from suicide,he was hit by train near Hanover; according to details he was actually suffering from depression since 2003.

There are different analysis about Robert Enke’s death but all evidences point towards suicide; his daughter died from heart problem in 2006 and that is  believed to be basic reason of his death.

Robert Enke represented Germany in several matches.

Sachin Tendulkar is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time.

Largely due to fantastic performance Australian batsmen Shaun Marsh and partly due to poor Indian fielding display, Australia scored 350 runs against the home team India; Shaun Marsh played an aggressive and matured innings, he scored runs all around the park;this was Shaun marsh’s maiden centuryof his career,he scored 112 runs in 112 balls.

India has loung batting order, so they can chase this total if their two or three players e.g. MS Dhoni,Yuvraj & Sehwag play very well.

The Right Handed middle order batsmen Mohammad Yousuf becomes the 10th highest runs getter in One Day International Cricket. Mohammad Yousuf who has recently reached 9500 runs landmark in ODIS is currently the 10th highest runs scorer in ODIS.

The Elegant Yousuf has scored 9525 runs in 277 matches with a solid average of  42.90 with 15 Centuries and 63 half centuries. Mohammad Yousuf is just 94 runs behind from Gilchrist who is currently at 9th spot in the list of highest runs scorer in ODIs.

Pakistan Thrashed New Zealand by 138 runs in the 1st ODI of Bank Alfalah Cool & Cool Cup in Abu Dhabi played on 3rd November.

Pakistan`s Captain Younus Khan won the toss and elected to bat first on a batting friendly wicket. Pakistan got off to a sluggish start as Salman Butt and Younus Khan got out without scoring a single run. Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal and Khalid Latif hit half-centuries to help Pakistan reach 287-9 in the first day-night international against New Zealand at the Abu Dhabi Stadium  on Tuesday.

Dashing all-rounder Afridi hit a quickfire 50-ball 70 and opener Latif a snail-paced 64 to help Pakistan recover from a precarious 75-4.

Akmal gave the innings final touches with a belligerent 43-ball 67 laced with four sixes and five boundaries as Pakistan ran rampage, collecting 107 in the last ten overs. Abdul Razzaq played a good cameo of 26 runs off just 20 balls.
Mohammad Yousuf played a decent knock of 30 before he got himself Run out.
Afridi, vice captain of the side, was instrumental in initially stepping up the run-rate with his bold hitting as he smashed 3 sixes and 4 fours during his 30th half-century. Wicket Keeper batsmen Kamran Akmal smashed 4 Sixes and 5 fours and remained not out.
Pakistan scored 137 runs in the last 15 overs and 206 runs in the last 25 overs.

New Zealand got off to a decent start as compared to Pakistan but could not capitalized on it. Only Three Kiwis batsmen managed to score runs in double figures . Redmond who opened the innings for New Zealand was the top scorer for kiwis as he managed to score 52 runs. New Zealand Captain Daniel Vettori scored 38 . The rest struggles to make any solid contribution for the side.

New Zealand innings lacks momentum. Kiwis Innings consists of two major batting collapses . The First- from 30/0 to 50/4 and secondly from 119/4 to 149 All out . Courtesy to some outstanding bowling from Pakistan`s bowler. Mohammad Aamer who only managed to pick up a single wicket was easily the most impressive one. Shahid Afridi (who nearly missed the hatrick),Abdul Razzaq,Gul and Saeed ajmal all took 2 wickets each.

Shahid Afridi won the Player of the match award for his all round performance.

Tthe 2nd ODI between the two sides will be played on 6th November,friday.

Shepherd last test match was between Pakistan and West Indies which was played in June,2005!
